Designation: Pre-Sales Engineer

Full-time (on-site)

About the Role

The Engineer will play a key technical role in supporting the Sales and Project teams by providing technical solutions, proposal support, and system expertise.

This role requires a technically strong and detail-oriented individual who can understand customer requirements, design suitable solutions, prepare technical proposals, and support the smooth handover from pre-sales to project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify, monitor, and manage government, commercial, and contractor tender opportunities through procurement portals such as GeBIZ, TenderBoard, SESAMI, SAP Ariba, and other client platforms.

· Review tender documents, including Requirement Specifications (RS), Conditions of Contract (COC), technical drawings, and compliance requirements.

· Prepare quotations, tender costing, technical proposals, compliance statements, Schedule of Rates (SOR), and supporting tender documentation.

· Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, vendors and principals on tender/project requirements.

· Develop solution architectures, technical write-ups, and presentation materials for customer proposals and tender submissions.

· Assist in technical presentations, product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (POC), and solution briefings when required.

· Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal technical teams throughout the pre-sales and tender process.

· Source supplier quotations and evaluate technical and commercial compliance to develop competitive proposals.

· Support tender clarifications, submission follow-ups, and project negotiations with customers and consultants.

· Ensure all tender submissions, quotations, and supporting documents are completed accurately and within project timelines.

· Maintain tender records, monitor project opportunities, and provide regular updates on submission status and sales pipeline.

· Support business development initiatives by identifying new project opportunities and building strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and technology partners.

Job Requirements

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, System Integration, Technical Sales, or the Security Systems / ELV industry.

· Experience preparing technical proposals, quotations, tender submissions, and compliance documentation.

· Familiarity with procurement processes and tender platforms such as GeBIZ, TenderBoard, SESAMI, SAP Ariba, or similar procurement portals.

· Knowledge of Security Systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Intercom, Networking, and integrated security solutions.

· Strong understanding of solution design, technical documentation, and customer requirement analysis.

· Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple tenders and projects while meeting tight deadlines.

· Possession of a Class 3 Driving Licence is an advantage.
