Alleviative Engineering Pte. Ltd. is an established building services contractor specialising in:

Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV)

Electrical Works

Fire Protection Systems

Addition and Alteration (A&A) Works

We are looking for a capable and motivated M&E Drafter to join our growing team.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys turning engineering concepts and site requirements into clear, coordinated and practical construction drawings. You will work closely with our project managers, engineers and site supervisors on active commercial and A&A projects.

Prepare M&E shop drawings, coordination drawings, schematic diagrams, installation details and as-built drawings.

Produce drawings mainly for ACMV and electrical systems.

Review architectural, structural, consultant and M&E drawings.

Coordinate ductwork, piping, electrical containment, equipment and other building services.

Prepare sections, elevations, enlarged details and equipment layout drawings.

Update drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions and approved changes.

Carry out site measurements and verification when required.

Identify potential clashes and coordination issues before installation.

Ensure drawings are clear, accurate and practical for site execution.

Maintain drawing registers, revision records and submission documents.

Assist with technical submissions, material submissions and quantity take-offs when required.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.

Support the project team in meeting drawing submission and construction schedules.

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, M&E Engineering or a related field.

Proficient in AutoCAD.

Good understanding of ACMV and electrical systems.

Able to read architectural, structural and M&E drawings.

Able to prepare shop drawings and installation details with minimal supervision.

Good understanding of actual site installation and construction requirements.

Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with project and site teams.

Responsible, organised and attentive to drawing details.

Willing to attend site inspections and carry out site verification when required.

Candidates with experience in any of the following will have an advantage:

ACMV ductwork and piping drawings

Electrical containment and power layout drawings

Combined services coordination drawings

Equipment and plantroom layouts

Riser and ceiling coordination

Builder’s work and opening drawings

M&E installation and support details

Commercial renovation and A&A projects

As-built drawing preparation

Knowledge of Revit or BIM is welcome but is not compulsory. Strong AutoCAD skills, M&E understanding and practical coordination ability are more important for this position.

Exposure to a wide range of ACMV, electrical and A&A works.
