Job Description

Metro Builders Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Procurement Executive to support our lift and escalator interior projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating procurement activities, managing deliveries, and ensuring timely supply of materials to project sites while working closely with the project, drafting, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Source materials and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.

Prepare purchase orders and monitor procurement schedules.

Coordinate local and overseas deliveries to ensure timely arrival of materials.

Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers on shipments and customs clearance.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of frequently used materials.

Coordinate material deliveries with project managers and site supervisors.

Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve delivery issues promptly.

Verify supplier invoices and delivery orders.

Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.

Support project teams with material planning and procurement-related matters.

Assist with other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong organisational and time management abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Experience in procurement, logistics, or the construction industry is an advantage.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

5.5-day work week

Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
