Responsibilities

 This position reports to the Academic Director.

 1.  Teach one or more of the following subjects on a full-time basis:

 (i.)  Singapore Cambridge GCE A level

General Paper

Mathematics

Chinese

Physics

Chemistry

Biology

Economics

Management of Business

Principles of Accounting

(ii.)  Singapore Cambridge GCE O level

English Language

Elementary Mathematics

Additional Mathematics

Chinese Language

Physics

Science (Physics / Chemistry)

Science (Biology / Chemistry)

Combined Humanities (Social Studies/ History)

Combined Humanities (Social Studies / Geography)

Business Studies

Principles of Accounting

2.  Conduct engaging and effective lessons for the students

3.  Develop lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the latest MOE syllabus

4.  Monitor students’ progress and provide regular feedback

5.  Identify students’ strengths and learning gaps, and provide timely targeted interventive support

6.  Prepare students for examinations through practice papers, revision lessons, and exam strategies/ techniques

7.  Set and mark test papers and examination papers.

8.  Mentor and guide students.

9.  Foster a positive, conducive and motivating learning environment.

Requirements

1.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study with at least 3 years of working and/or teaching experience.

2.  Fresh university graduates with excellent grades in the above-mentioned subjects may also be considered for the positions.

3.  Prior teaching experience in a local secondary school or junior college will be an added advantage.

4.  Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.

5.  Patient, enthusiastic and committed to student success.

6.  Strong passion for teaching and ability to motivate students to achieve academic excellence.
