About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Field Engineer to support pharmaceutical project execution and site activities within GMP manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will provide on-site engineering support, coordinate installation and commissioning activities, and ensure all project works comply with engineering standards, safety requirements, and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Site Engineering Support

Provide on-site technical support for pharmaceutical equipment, systems, and engineering activities.

Supervise equipment installation, testing, and commissioning works at project sites.

Coordinate daily site activities with project managers, contractors, vendors, and client representatives.

Monitor project progress and ensure site works are completed according to specifications and schedules.

Commissioning & Validation Support

Support Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) activities within GMP environments where applicable.

Prepare and maintain commissioning records, site reports, and technical documentation.

Ensure all engineering activities comply with GMP requirements, safety standards, and project procedures.

Troubleshooting & Improvement

Troubleshoot technical issues during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.

Support preventive maintenance activities and system optimisation when required.

Identify improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in:

Mechanical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Chemical Engineering

Pharmaceutical Engineering

Related Engineering disciplines

Experience

Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.

Experience with:

Equipment installation

Utility systems

Process systems

Commissioning activities
is an advantage.

Knowledge of GMP requirements is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Able to work effectively in a project site environment.

Willing to travel when required.

Strong team player with a proactive and hands-on attitude.
