Job Summary
Poh Ming Tse Temple seeks a proactive and creative individual to plan, coordinate, and promote programmes and community initiatives while enhancing communications and stakeholder engagement to support the Temple’s mission.
Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Develop and design publicity content and materials to promote Temple programmes and events effectively.
- Manage and update content on the Temple’s website, social media platforms, and communication channels to engage the community.
- Analyse registration, attendance, and digital engagement data to optimize outreach strategies and support reporting.
Programme & Event Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Temple programmes and events to ensure successful delivery.
- Liaise with speakers, partners, vendors, and volunteers to facilitate smooth event operations.
- Manage participant registrations, logistics, on-site event operations, and conduct post-event evaluations for continuous improvement.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
- Respond to participant enquiries and manage registration, donation processing, and follow-up communications to maintain strong community relations.
- Coordinate volunteer activities and nurture positive relationships with devotees and community partners to support Temple initiatives.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate programme records, documentation, and administrative files to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide general administrative, operational, and project support as assigned by Management.
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma qualification with at least 1 year of relevant experience in event management, marketing, communications, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Creativity with a strong eye for design and visual communications.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools, website content management systems, and social media platforms.
Other Information
Working Arrangement
- Five-day work week including four weekdays and one weekend day.
- Normal office hours from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
- Support for selected evening, weekend, and public holiday programmes with time off in lieu provided.
