Job Description
Shift Operation: Monitor and operate electrical and instrumentation systems during assigned shifts, perform inspections, respond to alarms and breakdowns, execute first-line troubleshooting, and support safe equipment start-up/shutdown to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Electrical Maintenance: Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on low-tension (LT) electrical systems, switchgears, motor control centers (MCC), and variable speed drives (VSD).
Instrumentation & Calibration: Perform inspections, testing, and loop calibration of process field instruments (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow, and pH sensors).
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Read electrical schematics, wiring layouts, and control logic diagrams to trace, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults safely.
LOTO & High Safety Culture: Execute precise electrical isolation and verification (LOTO) procedures before any mechanical or electrical servicing.
Data Log & Contractor Coordination: Record exact pre/post-calibration values in the CMMS tool (SAP or Maximo) to maintain GxP validation records. Supervise ad-hoc electrical contractors working on site.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Control Engineering, or Clean energy.
Good to have a valid Energy Market Authority (EMA) Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) license
Minimum 3–5 years of technical experience in industrial E&I maintenance, preferably within a regulated pharmaceutical, biopharma GMP plant or continuous-process manufacturing site.
Strong foundation in reading P&IDs and electrical single-line diagrams. Familiarity with PLC/DCS interfaces for physical loop testing.
Able to work 12-hour shifts.
