Job Summary

Manufacture laboratory chemicals by preparing chemical solutions, reagents, and samples following standard operating procedures with precision and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples accurately according to standard operating procedures to support laboratory manufacturing processes
• Operate standard laboratory tools and handle chemicals safely to maintain compliance with safety protocols
• Maintain organized work areas and document processes to ensure traceability and quality control
• Apply strong attention to detail to detect and prevent errors during chemical preparation and handling
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Post-secondary qualification in Chemistry, Applied Science, Chemical Technology, or related discipline (ITE, Polytechnic Diploma, or GCE A-Levels with Chemistry)
• Basic hands-on experience with standard laboratory tools and chemical handling
