12 Hours Rotating Shift

Job Responsibilities:

Perform minor maintenance

Performing checks, start-up and shutdown operations on process equipment such as pumps and compressors

Carry out filter changes

Isolating piping systems for plant start-up, shutdowns, product grade change and troubleshooting operations

Adjusting process parameters to optimize process operations under supervision of Supervisors

Commissioning and decommissioning of process equipment

Performing emergency shutdown of process equipment

Proper handing and blending of non-conforming and off specs products

Preparing plant equipment for maintenance

Preparing chemicals, including mixing and dilution, for process operations

Performing inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products based on established quality procedures

Performing emergency response activities and drills

Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Nitec / Diploma in Chemical Process / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Able to perform 12-hr rotating shift

5 - 8 years’ working experience as Process Technician in a chemical industry
