Responsibilities:

Operate batch processes, chemical reactors and distillation units according to SOPs. Monitor parameters (Temp, Pressure, Flow) and understand batch logic to identify and prevent process deviations.

Perform manual charging of raw materials into reactors accurately according to SOPs.

Perform precise equipment and valve line-ups for material transfers between tanks and process lines.

Perform drumming operations for finished products. This includes preparing drum/IBCs, setting up filling scales, monitoring flow rates and ensuring accurate fill weights.

Conduct QC testing in the production QC Laboratory to ensure product specifications are met.

Identify and report any equipment abnormalities or deviations.

Accurately record data in the process sheets.

Operate forklift safely to move materials and support production needs.

Serve as a member of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).

Perform scheduled housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Ensure proper handover and communication during shift changes.

Requirements:

ITE Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Materials Science, Mechanical, Petroleum/Oil & Gas), or a related field.

Prior experience in the chemical or process industry is preferred.

Strong team player with effective communication skills.

Ability to read and follow SOPs.

Ability to perform basic process calculations.

Able to perform manual charging, drumming, climb reactor levels and work in a non-conditioned and face-paced environment.

Possesses of AWSHPP, WAH, Forklift, Hazmat, Boiler Attendant would be added advantage.

Willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts on Jurong Island.

Remuneration will be based on qualifications and relevant experience.
