Job description for Centre Principal at Super Talent Childcare
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be responsible for the daily operations of the Centre.
- Plan, develop and implement the programme, curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment.
- Establish collaborative partnerships with parents, families, and staff for the children’s development.
- Guide and mentor teachers to raise the standard and performance of the centre.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Centre’s Mission, Vision, and Values, ECDA Licensing and SPARK requirements and other regulatory bodies and to ensure regulatory compliance/
- Manage the budget and expenditures at the centre.
- Build positive morale and a highly competitive team.
- Collaborate partnership with stakeholders
- Maintain a healthy enrolment rate
- Prepare monthly reports and other relevant documents required by Management
- Ensure the Centre meets Annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by ECDA
- Any other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Diploma in Pre-school Education Leadership (DPE-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Leadership (DECCE-L) / Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) Preferably with a recognized Degree in Early Childhood
- Diploma in Pre-School Teaching, Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or other Early Childhood Diploma Qualification(s)
- ECDA certified L2 educator
- Preferably holds a valid first aid certificate recognized by ECDA
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a professional early childhood setting
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood curriculum, pedagogy, and assessments.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Passionate in working with children, staff, and families.
- Is familiar with government regulations, quality assurance framework (SPARK)
