This role is under the Subvention team, oversee grant claim verification and disbursement operations, ensuring compliance, process efficiency, and effective implementation of policy and system enhancements.
- Oversee the end-to-end verification and disbursement of operating subvention claims to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with funding policies, audit requirements, and stipulated timelines.
- Review validation outcomes, exception reports, adjustment recommendations, and claim submissions generated through RPA and system processes, and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support the implementation of system and RPA enhancements for claim verification, ensuring solutions meet operational and business requirements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of operational processes and identify opportunities for optimisation, automation, and enhancement.
- Partner with policymakers and stakeholders to understand policy intent and translate policy requirements into effective operational processes and controls.
- Assess the operational impact of new or revised policies on existing processes, systems, controls, and resource requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support the implementation of new policies and initiatives by coordinating operational activities, managing dependencies, and resolving implementation issues.
Please note that this position is on 2 years contract, subject to renewal.
Job Requirements
- Degree in any discipline with minimum 4 years of relevant working experience. Degree in Engineering, Accountancy, Economics, Business or Statistics is an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in managing finance, grant, or audit related operations and managing junior will be preferred.
- Possess strong analytical thinking skills, business acumen, and high level of integrity.
- Resourceful, detailed, meticulous, and able to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and as a team player, with motivation to learn and progress as a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with huge data sets.
