Job Summary

Support project management and coordination for automation solutions by assisting in planning, scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Collaborate on design compliance, manufacturing oversight, and financial risk management to ensure timely, quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress to meet deadlines
• Prepare detailed reports, meeting minutes, and documentation for clear stakeholder communication
• Track project milestones and ensure all deliverables are completed on time
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to review technical drawings and specifications for compliance with standards
• Support testing, commissioning, and quality assurance activities to maintain product and process quality
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment to align with project schedules
• Monitor production schedules and resolve bottlenecks to ensure smooth manufacturing flow
• Enforce adherence to lean manufacturing principles and workplace safety practices
• Act as liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication
• Conduct weekly project meetings and prepare progress updates for stakeholders
• Manage change requests and variation orders with proper documentation and approval processes
• Assist in budget tracking, claims preparation, and cost control to maintain financial discipline
• Identify project risks and propose preventive or corrective measures to mitigate impact
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies throughout project execution
• Utilize project management tools such as MS Project to plan and track project activities
• Apply technical knowledge in automation, manufacturing, or IT systems to support project tasks
• Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate cross-functional teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma to enhance project management effectiveness
