Responsibilities:

Observability Engineering:

•Architect, deploy, and optimize Splunk ITSI dashboards, KPIs, glass tables, and service maps.

•Continuously enhance visibility into the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.

•  Proactive Monitoring & Investigation:

•Leverage observability data to investigate system issues and anomalies in real-time.

•Identify root causes using advanced event correlation, log analysis, and telemetry patterns.

•  Predictive Analytics & ML Integration:

•Apply machine learning models to detect anomalies, forecast system behavior, and prevent outages.

•Collaborate with data teams to operationalize predictive analytics for IT incident management.

•  Service Mapping with ServiceNow:

•Maintain and automate the synchronization of Configuration Items (CIs) from ServiceNow to Splunk.

•Ensure accurate service correlation and dependency mapping across platforms.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Hands-on experience with Splunk ITSI or similar observability platforms.

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow, including CMDB and CI relationships.

Familiarity with machine learning for anomaly detection and predictive analytics.

Proficient in scripting (Python, linux) for automation.

Understanding of ITIL and modern IT operations practices.

Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and investigation skills using observability data.
