Job description for Aerospace Welder (MRO) at Coway

We are seeking an experienced welder with strong TIG welding skills to support MRO operations. Reporting to the Operations Engineer, this role focuses on repairing aircraft components, ground support equipment and structural assemblies with precision and strict compliance to aviation safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding, inspections and execute maintenance task in accordance with approved maintenance data, tool list and or work instruction.

Establish and revise work instruction and tool list for new parts or process changes.

Follow operational procedures and quality standard to ensure compliance and safety.

Record the welding and maintenance result clearly and legibly in document or report which issued in the work-pack.

Perform a risk assessment of the activities and take corrective and preventive actions.

Report any incidents, hazardous conditions and emergencies promptly to the supervisor.

Perform preventive maintenance on machine, fixtures and tooling while maintaining workshop housekeeping.

Participate in audits and inspections as required.

Support Operations Engineer with additional task as necessary.

Required Qualification and Competencies

Min GCE O level/SPM/NITEC

AWS 17.1 Welding certification preferred 

TIG Welding experience within MRO environment

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
