About Us
ĀYU YOGΛ is a boutique yoga studio with two locations in Singapore, dedicated to genuine teaching, community, and the depth of classical yogic tradition. We offer group yoga, Handstand training, Mantra Yoga, Sound Bath Therapy, Chair Yoga, prenatal and kids yoga, workshops, and yoga teacher training. We're looking for an instructor who shares our commitment to authentic practice over trend-chasing.
Role Overview
We're seeking a passionate, qualified Yoga Instructor to lead group classes across our Pandan Valley and Joo Chiat studios. You'll guide students of varying levels through safe, well-sequenced practices while embodying our studio's warm, non-commercial teaching philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging group yoga classes (Hatha, Vinyasa, or relevant styles) for mixed-level students
- Ensure proper alignment, safety, and individualized attention within a group setting
- Build genuine rapport with students and contribute to studio community
- Stay current with class schedules, studio protocols, and ClassPass booking systems
- Occasionally support workshops or special events as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification (RYT-200 or equivalent); 500-hour or specialized training a plus
- At least 1–2 years of teaching experience (studio or freelance)
- Strong verbal cuing and hands-on adjustment skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with students and studio staff
- Passion for classical yoga philosophy beyond the physical asana practice
- Based in or able to commute reliably to Singapore (Pandan Valley / Joo Chiat)
