Job description for Web Developer at Island Media Management
Annual contract.
Five working days a week, Monday – Friday.
Office hours at 8 am – 5 pm.

Island Media is an integrated marketing consulting firm based in Bali & Jakarta we help clients from a large variety of industries. With a particular focus on developing cost-effective marketing strategies, we help businesses, big or small, make smart marketing plans and then execute them effectively. We specialize in market research, brand positioning, growth strategy, digital marketing, social media management, website development, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible to build websites in PHP/HTML5/CSS/JS, often based on WordPress CMS with custom theme and functionalities, and Static PHP/HTML pages, preparing all properties for clients’ websites, and working with senior management to execute technical aspects of online marketing solutions.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in IT or computer sciences is preferable, but not necessary. If you have the skills and experiences that we need, please feel free to contact us.
Required Skills:
- Able to communicate in English, fluency not required
- Excellence in problem-solving and research skills
- Able to work individually and with a team
- Expert with PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript/MySQL
- Experience with custom WordPress CMS Theme development and WordPress CMS file structure
- Experiences in a variety of web programming environments
- Experience with Git, Node.js, and Composer
- Experience with domain and hosting management
- Understand SEO (search engine optimization)
- Indonesian citizen, living in Bali
