Working hours: 9am to 6pm (Mon ā Fri)
9am to 12.30pm (Alt Sat)
Core Responsibilities
- Travel with fellow packer(s) to client premises to identify, measure, and package client's products.
- Marking & Labeling: Apply required and appropriate labels to packages.
- Documentation Management: Tally shipment documents against physical cargo.
- Cargo Securing: Use appropriate cushioning and strapping to ensure items do not move, leak, or react during transit.
Key Requirements
- DG Certification is not required and the candidate will be trained on the job.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail is required to ensure error-free work.
- Physical Capability: Ability to handle heavy lifting and work in varying environments, including client manufacturing sites and outdoors.
- Driving License (Added Advantage): Possession of a valid driving license is a plus point as the packer would be traveling between client sites or transporting equipment and materials required to fulfil the role. Packer would not be performing the task individually at the start.
Typical Work Environment
- Mobile Operations: You will spend most of your time at different customer locations, requiring high independence and strong communication skills with other colleagues in the company including, sales, customer service and operations supervisors and manager.
