Job description for Video Editor (Remote) at Our Grandfather Story Pte Ltd
The Video Editor will assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision suitable for online publication. As a video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.
We’re seeking a proactive and independent video editor who is passionate about both digital media and native advertising. Candidates should be interested in what makes someone share and how people communicate online.
Responsibilities:
- Piece together video edits following creative brief and production direction
- Review shooting script and raw material to edit video
- Delivering videos independently under tight deadlines
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Support post-production graphics, music, dialogues, and visual effects needs, where possible
- Manage video publication and file archival
Requirements:
- Familiar with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop (After Effects a plus)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with video portfolio, specifically documentaries, host-driven content and explainers
- Detail-oriented and organised
- Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection and dependable tech setup suitable for video editing.
- Ability to assist 8 hours a day, 5 days a week aligned with SGT hours.
