Based in Singapore, we are a licensed general direct insurer and actively participate in the local insurance sector through our membership in the General Insurance Association.
As we continue to grow and expand our operations in the Downtown Core area of Central Singapore, we are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Underwriting Assistant (Temporary). This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional and supportive environment while contributing to the efficient operation of our underwriting department.
The Underwriting Assistant will support the underwriting team by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, processing insurance applications, and ensuring timely communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:-
1. Issuance of Cover Notes
2. Foreign workers bond transmission to PAD
3. Preparation of updated claim stats/Liaison with claim dept for latest claim status
4. Inputting of renewal status/comments into AS400
5. Downloading of renewal notices
6. Letter of Indemnity documentation for Foreign workers bonds (Vetting/Follow up/Filing into the cabinets)
7. Referral Template input of data
8. Other ad-hoc admin support as assigned
We are looking for candidates who are proficiency in Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office is essential, as well as a strong understanding of administrative processes.
