Job Description:
HydraX is a Singapore-headquartered financial technology company that is focused on building next-generation technological solutions for the financial industry. We leverage the blockchain and technology to facilitate the trading of digital assets, spanning price discovery, trading, clearing and the settlement of both digital and traditional asset classes.
Our unique trading platform aims to create a predominant point of access platform that gives access to multiple asset classes and brings uniformity to the user trading experience; and provides a comprehensive, end to end service – from pre-trade to post-trade, exchange-based trading to OTC and portfolio management.
We are looking for a talented designer who is articulate in identifying user behaviours and passionate in building the future of financial technology. You will have the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce wireframes, user flows, mockups and prototypes
- Analyse and translate product requirements into high quality user interfaces
- Identify UX problems and incorporate usability findings to enhance user experience
- Conduct user research and competitive product analysis for new product ideas
- Create and manage design system for reusable design and drive UI components creation
- Create design specifications that include UI component details and user flows logic
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure that designs are properly implemented
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in Design, Information Systems, or other related fields
- 1-3 years of experience in designing iOS/Android mobile or Web application ideally a trading or financial platform
- Solid design philosophy, deep understanding and experience in UI/UX design and related fields
- Excellent skills in Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or Invision
- Understanding of technology capabilities such as HTML, CSS and front end technologies
- Passionate and detail-oriented
- Good logical thinking, analysing and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of trading or fintech would be a plus
