Job description for UI/UX Designer (Jogja-based) at Widya Edu
- Create UI/UX design concepts and solutions for internal software products and projects.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to provide the best user experience.
- Keeping up with the product development team's design backlog (Designers, Engineers, and Product Manager).
- Conduct benchmarking, desk research and analysis of each design project prior to the concept and design stages. Provide a sufficient research report as a basis for design direction.
- Create userflow based on user acceptance criteria and design user experience concept with user interface concept to solve project’s problems.
- Design solutions follow the fundamental principles of design, the laws of psychology, and the technical standards of human interaction software development to solve research/analysis problems. It offers beautiful UI design with many alternatives, with screen-to-screen consistency and user flow details.
- Designs are verified by self-verification of UI prototypes using usability testing methods. Design testing is part of design iterations to improve design results.
- Present the UI design with the development team. Responsible for UI specifications, color specifications, measurements, and implementation on various screens from asset files.
- Make judgments and determine appropriate actions within defined procedures and practices.
- Typically you will receive general instructions for your daily work and detailed instructions for any new projects or tasks.
- Creatively solve a variety of problems in product and project development.
- Minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree with an average of 1 - 2+ years of relevant experience (work/ projects).
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, Computer Science, Information System, Technology, Design, or related fields.
- Mobile app and Website design experience.
- Good understanding of the fundamentals of interaction design.
- Adaptable to change and willing to learn.
- Balances the tone of communication with awareness of interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in using Figma. If you can use other design applications is a plus.
- Mastered basic Figma Design Features, such as: component, auto layout, design system, etc.
- Have a design portfolio that demonstrates the process and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to be placed in Yogyakarta.
