Job description for Trainer - Holiday Camps and Courses at Resolute Robotics
Resolute Robotics delivers hands-on, high-energy STEM education designed to inspire the next generation of creators, coders, and engineers.
We are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, and tech-savvy Holiday Camp Trainers to lead interactive bootcamps and workshops during school holiday seasons. In this role, you will guide young learners (ages 6–14) through building mechanical systems, programming robots, and creating their own virtual worlds using platforms like LEGO Robotics, Scratch, Minecraft Education, and Roblox Studio.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on Instruction: Deliver engaging, project-based lessons in LEGO Robotics (SPIKE Prime / WeDo), block-based coding (Scratch), Minecraft Education (coding logic & redstone mechanics), and Roblox Studio (game mechanics & Lua basics).
Classroom Management: Facilitate a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, keeping small groups of students (typically 6–12 per cohort) focused, motivated, and excited to learn.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Guide students through debugging code, mechanical assembly errors, hardware-software pairing issues, and software setup on iPads/laptops.
Project Facilitation: Assist students in ideating, building, and presenting their end-of-camp showcase projects to parents and peers on the final day.
Kit & Equipment Management: Ensure robotics hardware, kits, tablets, and peripherals are inventoried, charged, sanitized, and properly stored before and after each session.
Parent Engagement: Provide brief, positive end-of-day progress updates to parents and capture photo/video highlights of student creations.
