Job description for Sustainability Engagement Intern [Jan to May 2023] at Environmental Solutions (Asia) Pte Ltd
Research and Design of Educational Materials (35%*)
- Create educational materials so as to build public awareness regarding plastic recycling amongst 7 to 12-year-olds
- Write and deliver talks to students on the importance of recycling right
Project Coordination (35%*)
- Build partnerships to work towards Sustainable Development Goals
- Liaise with schools, corporates, project partners to increase plastic recycling rates amongst students and office staff
Prepare communication materials (15%*)
- Create blogposts and social media content for project to generate awareness
- Contribute to whitepaper on how Singapore can improve plastic recycling through education and behavioural change interventions
- Proofread other reports and communication materials
Ad-hoc Tasks (15%*)
- Prepare marketing materials for events, e.g. printing
- Conduct site visits to better understand end-users' needs
