Job description for Store Merchandiser at PT. Gudang Ada Globalindo
We are looking for a Store Merchandiser with strong experience in Modern Trade or Health & Beauty retail chains.
This role will focus on product assortment, stock availability, sell-through performance, and visual merchandising execution across our retail points of sale.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in store merchandising, retail planning, or buying, preferably within Modern Trade or Health & Beauty chains
• Strong ability to analyze retail data, monitor sell-out trends, and translate insights into actionable execution at store level
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Familiar with merchandising tools, dashboards, or retail reporting systems
• Strong coordination skills with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take proactive ownership
• Good understanding of planogram localization, off-shelf display execution, and premium visual merchandising standards
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead product assortment planning and SKU rationalization by channel and store
• Manage stock allocation and replenishment across all points of sale
• Analyze sales, stock, and sell-through data to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities
• Coordinate new product launches with marketing, suppliers, and logistics teams
• Review slow-moving SKUs and recommend markdown, clearance, or exit strategies
• Prepare weekly and monthly merchandising performance reports
• Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising standards and store layouts
