Job description for Steel Structural Engineer at Simpson Strong-Tie Vietnam Company Limited
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Create design to increase the capacity of existing constructions located mainly in US market by using Simpson Strong-Tie steel structural components
• Develop automatic engineering calculations by using programming languages and design templates
• Prepare design reports, specifications, drawings and general correspondence promptly to teammates and stakeholders
You will be trained about Simpson structure components and internal design software.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
• Bachelor Degree with major of Civil Engineering
• 2 years of experience (Freshers are also welcome)
• English skills: equivalent to TOEIC 600; Be able to comprehend technical documents in English
• Have strong knowledge of AutoCAD, and Structural Analysis Software (ETAB, SAP2000)
• Ability to perform effectively as a team member with minimal supervision
• Integrity, customer-oriented and be able to work under pressure with high commitment
• Being familiar with Revit, Tekla, programming skills such as VBA code... would be an advantage
