Position Summary
As a Software QA Engineer at Yourpay, you'll take the wheel in designing, testing, and rolling out new features for our platform.
Working closely with the Product team, including their PMs, designers, developers, and other QA talents, you'll help the team establish stellar software design, promote proper engineering practices, bolster bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts across application areas of our product and services.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product team (including PMs, designers, and developers) from the inception of features; design new and enhance existing test suites based on business requirements
- Define Acceptance Criteria & Testing strategy with Product Owner / Manager, and help clarify the business requirement. Provide feedback of testing experience to Product Owner
- Create test case scenario, especially Identifying & Capturing complex and negative test scenario
- Report & document any bugs found, and test case results
- Work together with Product Team to write unit test cases, discuss the test criteria and, to create the best acceptance test case
- Ensure the User Acceptance Test case fulfills all the acceptance criteria before the product can go live
- Analyze and suggest improvements for the testing process/tools/technologies
- Work vertically on each feature to test the srver-side business logic and the user experience and flows on UI (Mobile Application)
- This position is a hybrid QA and Business Anayst (BA).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information system or engineering
- At least 1 years of experience in professional testing or as a business analyst
- Experience with some open source and/or online QA automation tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Appium, RESTAssured, Cucumber, TestNG, Testrail is a BIG PLUS
- Basic understanding of Postman, REST/SOAP and API Testing
- Familiarity with coding languages like Java (preferably) and Python
