Job description for Software Engineer at Yolo Technology Pte Ltd (Bossjob.ph)
Headquartered in Singapore, Bossjob is a HRTech startup that connects companies in Southeast Asia to pre-screened experienced professionals at a fraction of traditional headhunting fees by removing the need for human consultants. Beginning with the Philippines, our one-stop solution offers instant communication, talent screening, robo-headhunting and more. We're a diverse team based across Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia and China and we welcome talented individuals around the world to be part of our journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, build and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Design and develop scalable and well-structured back-end architecture
• Ensure the performance, quality, stability, scalability, and security of server applications
• Collaborate with product team and designer in application development
• Ship clean code and highly maintainable product
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across a wide range of devices and web browsers
• Cloud server maintenance and configuration
Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with Redux workflows and architecture
• Familiar with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Strong proficiency in Relational Database System especially MySQL
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Experience with cloud services especially AWS
• Familiar with code versioning tools especially Git
Good to have:
• Experience in Python
• Experience with Agile methodology process
