Job description
We are an edu-tech company delivering better learning experience and opportunities to everyone through our proprietary learning solution that includes software, hardware, and learning materials, customised for local needs.
We also offer co-learning space that provides enrichment classes to complement and supplement formal education.
As our Software Engineer, you are able to choose to become a front-end specialist or a back-end ninja to work together in our product development team for creating awesome educational applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develops web applications, mainly for K-12 educational interactive applications
- Creates and maintains technical and user documentations
- Works with content and design team to create intuitive and attractive applications
Requirements:
- Proficient in Javascript or Python
- Experience in either modern Javascript framework (i.e. React, Angular, Vue) or back-end framework (i.e. Django, Rails, Laravel)
- Familiar with any database system
- Experience in HTML5, CSS3
- Knowledge of OOP and software design patterns
- Comfortable working with version control such as Git
- Good level of English (oral and written)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Open to receive and act on constructive criticism
- A passion for children or better education
