Social Media & Video Content Intern (CapCut)
About the Internship
TutorJohn Learning Centre is looking for a creative and hands-on intern who is interested in social media, short-form videos and content creation.
No formal working experience is required. We welcome students, fresh graduates and self-taught creators. However, applicants should share what they have done so far that is relevant to the role. This may include school projects, personal TikTok or Instagram content, freelance work, CCA publicity, event videos or videos created for friends and small businesses.
Experience using CapCut or CapCut Pro is highly preferred. Please indicate which version you use and how familiar you are with it.
What You Will Do
-Plan content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook
-Suggest educational, entertaining and promotional video ideas
-Develop simple scripts, hooks, shot lists and filming plans
-Film content featuring tutors, students and centre activities
-Edit short-form videos using CapCut
-Add subtitles, text overlays, transitions, music, graphics and sound effects
-Follow TutorJohn’s preferred branding and editing style
-Organise raw footage and completed video files
-Make revisions based on feedback
-Assist with content posting and basic performance tracking
-Keep up with current social-media trends and video formats
-Who We Are Looking For
-Interested in video editing and social-media content
-Uses CapCut or CapCut Pro, or is willing to learn quickly
-Able to produce neat and engaging work efficiently
-Has a good sense of pacing, visual presentation and storytelling
-Responsible and able to meet agreed deadlines
-Comfortable receiving feedback and making improvements
-Able to work independently while communicating clearly with the team
-Comfortable working around tutors and students
-Experience Requirements
Formal employment experience is not required. Applicants should instead tell us:
What content or videos they have created so far
-Whether the work was for school, personal accounts, freelance clients or organisations
-Their specific role in each project, such as planning, filming, editing or posting
-Whether they use CapCut Free or CapCut Pro
-How long they usually take to edit a 30–60-second video
-Which CapCut features they are comfortable using
