Job description for Senior UI/UX Designer at Runchise
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings
- Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high fidelity mockups
- Communicate with product and engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders
- Ensure the voice of the customer is present by incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into the design
- Performing metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts
- Know how to use prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, or equivalent
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the Product & Technology Team
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
- Bachelor's degree in any major, however degree in graphic design or web design can be an advantage
- 3+ years of design experience within product design or design systems
- Familiar with designing tools such as Figma, Invision, Marvel
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with prototyping as a means to communicate design solutions (UI development experience a plus)
- Understanding how to leverage customer-centric creativity to meet business goals
- Should be good at problem-solving skills, logical & analytical thinking
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills.
