Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems based on user and project requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, well-designed, and testable code in accordance with software quality standards.
- Support the development of new software enhancements, features, and system configurations.
- Analyse requirements, develop technical specifications, and assess operational feasibility.
- Integrate software components into fully functional systems.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrades for existing applications and systems.
- Document software designs, processes, and system functionality.
- Automate development and operational tasks using appropriate tools and scripting.
- Conduct validation and verification testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and external system integration testing.
- Support software deployment and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with users and customers to understand requirements and address technical issues.
- Support the Lead in coordinating development tasks and Agile/Scrum activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members where required.
Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C++, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience or familiarity with relevant technologies such as:
- ReactJS
- NodeJS
- MongoDB
- Flutter
- FeatherJS
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Git
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience or exposure to DevOps practices and tools will be advantageous.
- Hands-on, with a strong interest and passion for software development and programming.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, programming languages, and development frameworks.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Customer-oriented with a positive and proactive Can-Do attitude.
- Senior-level candidates should be comfortable providing guidance and technical support to team members.
