Job description for Senior Executive, Public Relations (1 year contract) at NTUC LearningHub Pte Ltd
Job Responsibilities:
- Be the champion for NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB)’s media relations with the local Chinese media. This includes handling the end-to-end process of pitching stories, drafting and translating media responses and interview talking points in mandarin, preparing spokespersons for interviews, etc.
- Actively seek out speaking opportunities for NTUC LHUB’s management in high-profile public webinars/ events to position them as subject matter experts in keynote speeches, fireside chats and/or panel discussions.
- Support these initiatives by drafting English and mandarin media materials, speeches/ scripts, marketing and online collaterals, and other promotional materials
- Uncover newsworthy human interest stories of trainees by exercising journalistic and investigative skills
- Carry out assigned tasks to support activations, activities and events to meet the overarching brand and communications strategy and objectives
- Monitor, track and prepare weekly reports on NTUC LHUB’s media coverage
- Manage our journalist database, and provide support PR activations
- Monitor media developments and competitor activity to help keep NTUC LearningHub ahead of the curve
- Be the administrative, logistics and operational support within the brand and communications team in the rollout of PR campaigns and GoH events
- Be an integral source of support to the brand and communications team in growing brand awareness and contribute to the usual daily workflow
- Ensure timeliness in delivery of work and compliance to briefs/ requirements
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Job Requirement:
- Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Mass Communication or Business Management with preferred majors in Marketing or PR
- At least 3 years’ experience in marketing, branding and PR fields at corporate level
- Industry experience in training or in organisations that offer similar product and services to both B2C as well as B2B customers
- Writing and experience in media relations and journalism management are compulsory
- Strong copywriting skills in English and Mandarin.

- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently when situation calls and be resourceful
- Good problem-solving skills at the corporate level
- Good organization skills
- Good team player who can work and collaborate effectively horizontally
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT applications
- Proficient in Digital Marketing, Mass Communications, PR and Business Management
