Job description for Senior Editor at Coinvestasi
We are looking for a Senior Editor with good sense of writing skills to oversee our company’s daily publication operations. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, reviewing and editing content and ensuring that the content is accurate and in accordance with our quality standards.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Our ideal candidate is someone with relevant journalism and writing experience and good with content management system. As a Senior Editor, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. Someone who is an expert in content optimization. The goal is to provide exceptional, informative and engaging content.
Responsibilities are including but are not limited to :
- Plan, implements and coordinate content writing team
- Proofread and make suggested edits
- Read copy to identify and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax
- Fact-check copy to ensure that all dates, names, statistics, and facts are correct
- Identify ways that the structure and flow of content could be improved
- Create and publish engaging content
- Edit, proofread and improve writers’ posts
- Optimize content according to SEO
- Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
- Develop an editorial calendar and ensure the content team is on board
- Ensure compliance with the law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
Your Personal Skills :
- Leadership, listening skills, and collaborative attitude with teams.
- Adapt in people management and negotiation
- Curious to learn more about cryptocurrency
- High level of critical thinking and logical analysis
- Highly organized and high attention to detail is a must
Your Technical Skills :
- Proven work experience as an Editor or similar role with minimal 1 year experience
- Bachelor Degree in Journalism or relevant field
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience with content management system
- Exceptional ability in copywriting and editing
- Abilities in planning and coordinating people and operations
- Curious to learn more about cryptocurrency
- Committed to positive team culture, and personal growth;
- Well versed in, passionate, and knowledgeable about cryptocurrency and blockchain
- Non-defensive in giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Fluent in English both Oral and Written
- Always keep the highest standards of compliance and confidentiality
