About the role
We are looking for a talented and driven Sales Engineer to join our team at PT Multitek Mitra Sejati. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for sales and providing technical expertise and support to our clients, helping them find the best solutions to meet their needs. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta.
What you'll be doing
- Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and challenges
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our solutions
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the sales process
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives
- Promote product range and identify customer need
- Do technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
- Travelling to visit potential clients and do site survey if required.
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Preparing tenders, proposals, quotations and follow up.
- Respond to and follow up sales inquiry and leads
- Negotiating and closing sales contracts to meet your targets
What we're looking for
- Graduated as Bachelor Degree (S1) from engineering field
- Experience in general industries especially in pulp& paper and F&B
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of the sales and product landscape
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Computer literate (MS office, power point etc).
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- A valid driver's license is required (SIM A)
