Account Executive
Gabo is a venture-backed AI-powered customer engagement platform that helps businesses respond to leads, qualify interest, and book appointments automatically over voice and WhatsApp. We work with fast-growing service businesses in Indonesia and are looking for motivated AE to help us introduce Gabo to SMEs across Indonesia.
What you will do
Receive qualified leads from our marketing team and own them from first touch to close
Run the full sales cycle on WhatsApp, phone, and video calls
Talk to business owners (salon owners, clinic owners, restaurant owners, retail owners) and understand their needs
Demo Gabo's AI solution and show them how it solves their problem
Negotiate pricing and close deals
Hand off closed customers to the Customer Success team for activation
Hit monthly close and revenue targets
Keep CRM updated with deal status and notes
Share market feedback with the product team
What we are looking for
1 to 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally selling to Indonesian SMEs
Comfortable speaking and writing in English (this is important because you will work directly with the founder)
Native Bahasa Indonesia speaker (you will sell to Indonesian customers daily)
Strong communication on WhatsApp and phone
Comfortable closing deals over chat (Indonesian SME owners buy on WhatsApp, not in scheduled calls)
Hungry to hit targets and earn commission
Organized, responsive, and willing to take ownership
Interested in AI and technology
Bonus points
Experience selling SaaS to Indonesian SMEs (Mekari, Moka, Majoo, Talenta, ESB, Qontak, Xendit, etc.)
Experience selling to clinics, salons, F&B, or retail businesses
Track record of hitting or exceeding sales quota
Experience with WhatsApp Business or chat-based sales
