Job description for Retail Manager at r y e

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Retail Manager to support our retail stores’ day-to-day operations. This role combines customer service, sales support, inventory coordination, store upkeep, rostering, and timesheet administration. You will play a key role in delivering an excellent in-store experience while ensuring smooth and efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a warm, personalised customer experience and strong brand representation on the sales floor
Drive sales, build customer engagement, and share feedback on customer preferences and buying patterns
Support inventory management, stock allocation, replenishment, stock audits, and order fulfilment across retail and e-commerce channels
Maintain high boutique standards in store presentation, cleanliness, organisation, and overall customer experience
Work closely with the team on roster planning, staffing coordination, and operational support across store locations
Consolidate and verify timesheets for part-time and casual staff to ensure accurate and timely payroll submission

What We’re Looking For

Strong customer service and sales sensibility
Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented with a hands-on approach
Comfortable managing both front-of-house retail and back-end operational tasks
A collaborative team player with good communication skills
Able to thrive in an experience-driven retail environment and adapt to evolving operational needs

On-site work location: 46 Kim Yam Road, New Bahru
At least 5 years of experience in fashion retail and/or operations, with proven leadership experience in leading and managing a team
This is a full-time position requiring 5 working days per week, including weekends
