Job description for Retail Associate/ Menswear Consultant at Perfect Attire

Perfect Attire PTE. LTD. is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Associate / Menswear Consultant to join our team in our Downtown Tanjong Pagar store, located in the Central Region. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our discerning clientele. As a Menswear Consultant, you will be the face of our brand, combining product knowledge with genuine customer service to drive sales and build lasting relationships with our clients. Your role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the retail sector and ensuring every customer leaves our store satisfied with their purchase and experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating an inviting atmosphere and assessing their styling needs and preferences
  • Provide expert advice on menswear collections, including clothing fit, fabric quality, colour coordination, and styling recommendations tailored to individual customer preferences
  • Assist customers with product selection, ensuring they find pieces that align with their style, body type, and budget requirements
  • Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, handling cash and card payments with integrity and efficiency
  • Maintain store displays and visual merchandising standards, ensuring products are attractively presented and stock levels are well-organised
  • Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management, reporting on product availability and restocking needs
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships, remembering client preferences and providing personalised service on repeat visits
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and courteously, working to resolve issues satisfactorily
  • Stay informed about current fashion trends, seasonal collections, and promotional campaigns to effectively communicate product benefits to customers
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales targets and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising guidelines at all times.
