Job description
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior management to provide market intelligence;
- Create lists of organisations based on industries;
- Create lists of contact details;
- Analyse company websites and download relevant publications;
- Extract relevant data (statistics) from published company annual reports;
- Utilize LinkedIn and other social media and industry tools to help identify and source leads;
- Follow-up on LinkedIn leads and schedule meetings;
- Prepare materials and reports that summarize data and draw conclusions to support key business discussions;
- Attend internal meetings to offer up industry/market insights;
- Other duties as they arise according to direct manager requests.
Requirements:
Technical skills
- Ability to gather data through relevant searches on the Internet;
- Data administration and processing;
- Good at managing numbers and data;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office products;
- Ability to use Google Drive and Apps;
- Project planning and monitoring;
- Social media – especially LinkedIn;
- Online communication via Skype and other platforms;
Professional skills
- Excellent English skills;
- Excellent communication skills, especially speaking, reading and writing;
- Attention to detail in ensuring everything is cross-checked and accurate;
- Analysis and synthesis;
- Be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work;
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team;
- Professional attitude and an interest in learning;
- Previous quantitative and qualitative research experience (nice to have)
