Traineeship Title: Recruitment Consultant
(EA License Number 16S8126) We are expanding in Asia and looking for a Trainee Recruitment Specialist to spearhead new accounts and also manage accounts both in Singapore and China. The person will be located at our Singapore office.

Our office is in the heart of the CBD. This role could cover roles all across the region and have the chance to be posted to anchor our business either in Hong Kong or develop in Shanghai. The Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for finding clients and assisting them for their talent acquisition needs. You will attract candidates, screen them and match them to appropriate positions.
Specific Responsibilities:
Marketing and Prospecting
· Conduct research on industry and competitor trends (through data collection, surveys)
· Build long-term and trusted relationships with new and existing clients
· Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
· Regularly communicate with clients to determine their hiring needs
· Understand your clients' business and culture inside out, as well as successfully interpreting their unique resourcing requirements
· Prospecting for new client business and building a strong network of contacts.
· Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns
· Identify target audience and platforms used by them (e.g. LinkedIn, Weibo, WeChat) and actively engage with clients/ candidates on these channels.
· Actively manging client pipeline and developing plans to achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly business growth goals with your team.
Qualifying and Needs Assessment
· Gather key information to determine if leads are a good match
· Qualifying leads by asking how well they are likely to be interested in your candidate database, understanding where your USP is against your competitors, how your client makes a decision
· Really understand your client sales needs by listening and asking probing questions and paraphrasing them
· Bring new hiring ideas to their tables by keeping abreast of people trends in their industries
Sourcing
· Develop and consult a large network of candidates with both immediate and long-term career needs. Develop relationships with prospective talent.
· Sourcing candidates through business contacts, direct recruiting, existing database and internet advertising
· Attract candidates through a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media, while effectively targeting the right kinds of candidates for the job.
· Seek out and recommend creative new ways of sourcing talent.
· Review resumes, cover letters, and assess interview performance to understand candidate’s profile.
Sales Pitch, Proposal and Closing
· Tailor sales pitch or demo according to each specific prospect
· Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
· Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
· Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
· Create a sense of urgency for a close (a hire of the client of your candidate)
· Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Your Profile
· Under-Graduate or Gradates from Polytechnic or Universities. (Preferably studies in marketing, business, finance or similar fields. Also open to fields such as Logistics or Maritime due to company’s focus industry)
· Highly motivated and driven.
· Independent learner and worker.
· Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
· Eager learner to grow and develop.
