Y Art Consultantcy is a dynamic and innovative firm based in Paya Lebar, East, Singapore, dedicated to delivering exceptional art consulting services to clients across the region. As we continue to grow and expand our offerings, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our projects, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about combining creativity with strategic project management to drive results.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various art-related projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with project goals, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also be involved in risk assessment, resource allocation, and continuous improvement of project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's Degree and between 1 to 3 years of experience in project management or a related field. Proficiency in project implementation, Trello, IT project management, project planning, and Agile methodologies is essential. Candidates should have strong skills in project coordination, agile project management, risk management, and team management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales
• Drive art sales as the primary responsibility of the role — at fairs, in the gallery, and through client relationships
• Manage the full sales cycle: client conversations, proposals, negotiation, closing, and invoicing
Art Fair Management
• Represent the gallery at 5–7 international art fairs annually, with travel to Hong Kong, London, Singapore and Jakarta
• Coordinate fair logistics end-to-end, including artwork shipment, booth setup, and on-site operations
• Liaise directly with artists on artwork selection, consignment, and shipment for each fair
• Handle hands-on travel packing and preparation of artworks and booth materials
Gallery Administration
• Manage gallery inventory and day-to-day gallery-sitting duties
• Issue invoices and maintain accurate sales and client records
Marketing & Digital Projects
• Manage/Assist the gallery's social media presence, including Instagram and Xiaohongshu (RED), with strong visual/graphic sensibility
• Support the gallery's NFT and VR art initiatives — client conversations, proposals, and closing sales on these projects
• Oversee project execution end-to-end across exhibitions, fairs, and digital art initiatives
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor's degree
• A genuine passion for art and the art industry
• Strong sales instincts and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Design skills, with working knowledge of Canva
• Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work
• Bilingual in English and Chinese
• Willing and able to travel internationally for art fairs
• Hands-on and detail-oriented, comfortable with the physical, on-the-ground side of the role (packing, shipping, on-site setup)
