Job description for Product Owner at PCS Payment
Qualifications:
- Industry: 2ā5 years as Product Owner, Technical PO, or Systems Analyst in Fintech, E-Wallet, PPOB, or POS industries.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of payment systems, API integrations, and transaction flows. Able to read and validate technical outputs (architecture assessments, API contracts, data models). Background as Developer or Systems Analyst is strongly preferred.
- Negotiation: Able to quickly grasp user needs and negotiate scope/timeline trade-offs backed by data.
- Orchestration: Able to coordinate Developers, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders across multiple projects in parallel without hands-on technical execution.
- Tools: Proficient in project management tools, documentation workflows, and AI-assisted development tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement & Impact Analysis: Extract requirements from users, conduct comprehensive Impact Analysis using AI sub-agents, validate the output, and confirm scope with users.
- Documentation: Produce structured analysis documents covering architecture, flows, effort estimates, and spec-ready output. Distribute to Developers (basis for Spec) and QA (basis for test scenarios).
- Technical Sync: Regular coordination with Dev & QA ā review specs, clarify requirements, identify blockers before development starts. PO reviews and validates; does not hands-on solve technical problems.
- UAT: Prepare test cases from a standardized template, facilitate UAT sessions with end-users, document results, and manage sign-off.
- Release Oversight: Ensure Document Release is complete and the deployment section (written by Dev) is clear & reproducible. Coordinate pre-release readiness.
