This is for you. Working closely with the MD, you'll be identifying new market and channel opportunities, leading research for new product development, enhancements and redesign as well as working in collaboration with Business Units on existing products and new product launches.

Responsibilities
· Identify new market and channel opportunities with an understanding of the markets’ needs, logistics and supply chain, regulatory framework and commercial viability of the products.
· Develop new product strategies, roadmap and specifications that are consistent with the company’s vision, policies and objectives.
· Lead key strategic end to end Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing and Logistics work-stream activities to optimally support rapid business expansion
· Oversee the design, development and testing of new products within the ergonomic furniture category which requires conducting market research, generating product requirements, determining specifications, quality compliance and assurance as well as overseeing the production timetable.
· Involve in full procurement cycle (operational procurement, vendor management and strategic procurement) for new products
· Focus on developing formulations for new products and sources for materials and suppliers.
· Manage product lifecycle from conceptualisation, pricing, time-integrated plans for product introduction to measuring ROI of product post-launch.
Requirements
· 3 to 5 years of working experience in overseeing product development, research and development, QA & QC (preferably in the furniture industry)
· Proven track record in product planning, defining and launching successful products.
· Familiar with regional product regulatory requirements, registration and market access.
· Possess a high degree of initiative, self-motivated and able to multitask
