As a Product Merchandising Executive
You’re curious about what makes a great product and why customers choose to buy it. You have a strong eye for design, but you’re equally comfortable looking at sales numbers, margins and stock levels. You’re organised, commercially minded and enjoy bringing products from an initial idea through development, launch and ongoing improvement.

Job Description
- Product Development: Support and manage the development of SOJAO products from concept to launch, including product research, supplier sourcing, sampling, costing, specifications, quality checks and production timelines
- Product Merchandising: Analyse sales, margins, sell-through and inventory performance to help determine the right product assortment, quantities, reorders, markdowns and discontinuations across retail and e-commerce
- Consignment & Brand Curation: Source, evaluate and manage consignment brands and products that complement SOJAO’s assortment. Ensure each product is commercially viable, relevant to our customers and aligned with the SOJAO brand
- Product Performance & Planning: Monitor product and category performance, identify bestsellers and slow movers, and turn customer and sales insights into recommendations for future products and buying decisions
- Supplier & Vendor Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and ensure product quality, costs and delivery timelines meet expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Retail, E-Commerce, Creative and Customer Service teams to ensure products are launched successfully,stocked appropriately and continuously improved based on customer feedback and business performance.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product development, merchandising, buying, sourcing or a related retail/e-commerce role
- Experience coordinating with suppliers and managing product development timelines
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple products and projects simultaneously
- Strong communication, negotiation and project management skills
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good team player, self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of projects• Singaporeans & PRs welcome
