Job description
- Analyse purchase requisitions for accuracy of specifications, timeliness of request to meet delivery lead time and availability of stock holdings within the warehouse.
- Obtain best cost of purchase which includes rebates, payment terms, return policies and warranties of quality.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the supplier/s shortcomings and strengths. Continuously searches and cultivates new sources for supplies.
- Shall be required to bid requests to several potential vendors and suppliers periodically to validate current market pricing of products.
- Shall be required to co-ordinate and schedule inbound receiving and outbound dispatching activities on a timely manner.
- Shall be required to be the key contact with category of supplier and provide feedback of supplier reliability and quality.
