Phonics Teacher

At RW Academy, our classes are tailored for children between 3 and 7 years old. We help children become confident in reading, writing, and speaking
through structured, play-based, multi-sensory Jolly Phonics and Literacy programme. We believe every child learns differently, and we are looking for teachers who are committed to making learning joyful, supportive, and impactful.

Responsibilities

• Teach phonics, literacy, reading, and writing classes for young children
• Create a fun, engaging, and safe classroom environment
• Guide children with patience, encouragement, and positivity
• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, and classroom activities
• Build good relationships and communicate confidently with parents
• Prepare simple parent updates and class communications
• Take photos and short videos of classroom activities and students for parent updates and school marketing purposes
• Welcome and receive students arriving at the centre
• Ensure students are safely dismissed and handed over to parents after class
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organisation, and teaching materials
• Support students’ learning progress and classroom participation
• Work closely with the team and contribute beyond teaching duties when needed
