Job description for Partnerships / Business Development Manager (Singapore / US Office) at Gnowbe
Key Responsibilities – Partnerships/Business Development Manager (US/Singapore Office)
- Field, nurture, and close sales prospects for highly relevant and profitable content partnerships in Singapore, the US, and other markets.
- Work closely with the Head of Partnerships to craft profitable, strategic partnership constructs that yield profitable revenue growth both short and long term.
- Manage the implementation and ongoing account management of content partnerships – ensuring customer satisfaction and driving profitable account growth.
- Manage marketing and business development projects across clients, product, and instructional design. Support execution and any required follow-up services.
- Source high quality and relevant content for the Gnowbe existing and prospective customer base.
- Engage prospects and existing clients in business development growth opportunities – driving both new sales and account expansion
- Manage and support our existing global network of distribution partners through various channels
- Provide training (product knowledge, curator, admin, sales,) to prepare partners to acquire customers and generate revenue
- Conduct regular communication with partners, including advice and resources on closing and driving impact
- Provide partners with relevant sales materials required for a successful close
- Conduct joint calls and product demonstrations as requested
- Track and report partner sales pipeline
- Create, manage, and track partner incentive and commission programs
- Tap into our content partner network to grow our content library based on requirements and needs from enterprise clients/prospects
- Develop marketing campaigns to incentivize partners to promote Gnowbe
- Devise detailed project plans for content delivery and manage internal and stakeholders to drive successful execution
- Contribute to the overall success of the Gnowbe Sales Team by sourcing and selling
- Gnowbe services to new and existing customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum 5+ years’ of relevant experience in business development, with a clear track record of meeting and exceeding sales and revenue goals. Enterprise sales experience is a plus.
- Prospect and generate new business for Gnowbe across APAC, Europe and North America
- Support Head of Partnerships and Marketing to identify and implement key sales/business development targets in the market
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding large sales/partnerships revenue & P&L goals
- Solid reputation and professional demeanour, with the ability to:
- Connect with decision-makers on internal teams and at senior leadership levels
- Bring credibility to business development and outbound sales conversations
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Excellent verbal/written communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in client relationship management processes and best practices
- A proven track record of leading operations and strategic initiatives
- Open to sharing knowledge and opinions
- Analytical and able to understand and communicate highly technical products and concepts
- Resilient, resourceful, optimistic and energetic when dealing with ambiguity and making positive use of the opportunities it presents
- Actively listening to others, taking responsibility for mistakes, and respecting the diversity of your colleagues
- Global mindset and comfortable managing international partnerships
