Paralegal / Legal Executive / Senior Executive

Scope of Work:

Together, the Legal, Risk, and Compliance Team is responsible for all legal and compliance aspects of Lyte Ventures’ operations across all countries where Lyte Ventures has a local presence.

Responsibilities: -

• Prepare materials for training employees based in APAC;
• Company policy drafting and review;
• Assist with legal research on legal topics both domestic and international to drive implementation;
• Support all legal-related matters including template creation and management;
• Legal work will relate to the fields of employment law, competition law, intellectual property law, corporate law, technology-related contracts, and data protection; and
• Support in corporate administrative work and corporate secretarial matters including liaising with local teams, external lawyers, external corporate secretarial services in the implementation, coordination and management of group-wide corporate projects.

This role will report to the Head of Legal and Compliance.

Requirements:

You should have met the following criteria: -

• Diploma or Degree in law (from a common law jurisdiction) or currently preparing for the Bar;
• Experience in legal support services is a plus but not mandatory;
• Able to work full-time (40 hours per week); and
• Have a good understanding of legal principles.

• Interest in building and understanding the relationships between business units and legal;
• Interest in international work exposure;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• A good team player, organised, detail-oriented, proactive, independent and self-motivated;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Be efficient and well-organised;
• Able to work under pressure;
• Hands-on computer skills;
• Good presentation skills; and
• Professional proficiency in Bahasa, Thai, Vietnamese, and Mandarin is a plus
