Job description for Operations & Events Coordinator at Vintagewknd
Started in 2016, Vintagewknd is a sustainable vintage & rework brand in Singapore. We’re on a mission to turn old into gold by working with garment waste, creating and styling one-of-a-kind items. We're proud to say our pieces bring joy to people of all ages, sizes, genders and aesthetics!
We are a fast-moving e-commerce & retail company, looking for a proactive & organized professional with experience in ecommerce/retail operations or events who can add value to our team and further our brand. Your role is responsible for managing internal operations/logistics, coordinating external events & managing ad hoc team to ensure best standards.
The Role
- Coordinate & manage internal operations
- Inventory management processes and related logistics
- Administrative work & logistics related to sales & order fulfillment
- Internal warehouse events and office logistics
- Coordinate external events & manage stock flow
- Source & liaise with event operators to maintain calendar of events
- Direct & ensure smooth logistics throughout events on and off location
- Manage accounts & inventory for events
- Work with marketing team to execute events marketing campaigns
- Manage ad hoc retail/operations team
- Establish & lead ad hoc team to assist in all internal operations & external retail duties
- Create & manage processes for hiring & training ad hoc team members
- Optimize current operational processes for best efficiency
Requirements
- (Preferred) 1 Year Experience in: Ecommerce operations, retail operations, event operations, customer service, logistics, administrative
- Have a good understanding of ecommerce retail operations and event/pop-up/consignment functions
- Excellent at customer service & able to train others to do the same (or leadership experience in workspace)
- Resourceful and always striving for high efficiency in all processes
- Display initiative, critical thinking & problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, able to multitask and work smart
- Work well independently & in a team environment
- Have a passion for fashion & lifestyle, especially sustainable & vintage fashion! You kinda need to love outfits... :)
- BONUS SKILLS: Shopify, Web Design & Management, Photography & Editing, Graphic Design
