Job Summary

Join our high-growth startup as a Project Manager to lead site development and set the gold standard for mechanical operations in HVAC/Semiconductor projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of construction projects to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide regular, high-level project status updates and performance metrics to top management.
  • Align project execution with company business goals and timelines to drive strategic outcomes.
  • Identify project risks early and implement effective corrective actions to mitigate impact.
  • Mentor or lead a team of engineers to enhance team performance and project delivery.
  • Oversee technical planning and development of infrastructure and mechanical facilities to meet project requirements.
  • Manage project activities to maximize productivity and minimize material wastage.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Statutory Authorities, consultants, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication.
  • Ensure compliance with government safety regulations and quality standards at every project phase.
  • Supervise mandatory inspection and testing of all site machinery and equipment to maintain operational safety.
  • Establish and monitor stringent work quality controls throughout construction processes.
  • Track daily work progress against the master project timeline to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues affecting project works promptly.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets to prevent cost overruns during execution.
  • Respond to account sales inquiries and maintain client relationships effectively.
  • Working Days: Mon to Fri & Alternative Sat

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, construction, or equivalent.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of verified experience in Project Management.
  • Hands-on experience in the Singapore building/construction industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD for reviewing and modifying technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills applied to project challenges.
  • Effective negotiation skills and clear communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain performance under high-pressure environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate project teams and meet tight deadlines.
